Tucker Energy Services Canada passes 5 million kilometres without a vehicle accident
Calgary, Alberta (March 11, 2013): A company-wide commitment to safety has enabled Tucker Energy Services Canada (TES) to announce today that employees have now driven over five million kilometres without a chargeable vehicle accident.
This historic mark of safety came after 933 days and almost three Canadian winters.
“This could not have happened without completely committed field personnel and a dedicated management team. They did the hard stuff and kept us safe,” said David Jellett, president of Tucker Energy Services Canada. “I personally want to thank every TES Canada employee for having the right attitude about driving safety and practicing it every day.”
As of March 8, TES Canada had driven 5,011,293 kilometres without a motor vehicle accident and had recorded 933 motor vehicle accident-free days.
“Safety is a company core value and the culture of the organization. You don’t achieve these fantastic results with rules; it takes the right people and the right attitude about safety and doing the job right to make it happen,” said Jellett. “Five million kilometres is a big milestone and it proves to me that our employees care.”
